With their combined experience base exceeding 40+ years, the Altrius Directors have been involved in numerous local and
international development projects and mineral processing operations. The Altrius team’s collective experience has been gained by
fulfilling key roles within consulting firms, mine development companies and operating mines.
Project management, study management, operations management and principal technical roles are just some of the roles
successfully undertaken by the Altrius Directors.
Marius Phillips
Engineering Director
As a Chartered Professional Engineer with over 30 years experience, Marius has developed an excellent operational, managerial and technical base in minerals processing and the extractive metallurgy of base metals, precious metals and PGMs.
Marius has completed assignments both locally and internationally and is experienced in the areas of due diligence studies, concept, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies. His experience further includes, metallurgical test work program development and management, process engineering design, detailed engineering design, commissioning and de-commissioning of major process plants, operations and management of processing plants, technology transfer and process plant troubleshooting and optimisation.
